PURPOSE

DPAAS is a joint government and industry venture to improve the processes associated with Defense Planning and Analysis and to provide quality support in this vital area. As advocates for the Defense Planning and Analysis Community, our meetings serve as a forum for discussion of requirements, research, and testing relative to new capabilities development and sustainment.

GOALS

  • Enhance the recognition of Defense Planning and Analysis as a professional endeavor
  • Improve the efficiency of defense planning including development, technology and mission area planning
  • Improve the framework and guidelines for analysis related to decision-making
  • Encourage the establishment of standards in terminology, conduct and application of planning and analysis techniques
